Does anyone know the root of the problem with this 100% accuracy once implementing a mod?

I changed the damage of an accelerator in a mod. I loaded the game, got into a scrap, and all soldiers have 100% accuracy at maximum range.

I do. I reported the problem, in great detail, to Altar (specifically, Martin) exactly two months ago as of today. If you search the forums, you'll find a thread with some excellent posts, complete with screenshots, done by Elevrai when he was confirming this bug for me.

What causes the problem? All I've modified is the accelerator, and ALL my solders in combat have 100% accuracy now.

What were your findings, if you don't mind me asking?

I read the thread that Elevrai posted, and you're right. It's good information.

I imagine you tried to fix this with your mod by redistributing accuracy benefits.

Did you remove some things all together? Reduce the accuracy enhancement on some firearm add-ons? Remove flechette ammo altogether? I've printed out your readme.txt within your mod, and it's not readily apparent as to what changes you might have made to compensate.

The bug has not been fixed, nor is there a workaround, nor have I removed any items. There are precisely two choices: accept that your soldiers will be ridiculously accurate (ie: cheat), or don't use two accuracy boosters on the same weapon (ie: gimp yourself). Neither is a good choice, but they are the only ones available.
