Always thought that Reticulan Blaster looks ugly? That Reticulan Warp Pistol is just giant psychodelic mushroom? That Reticual Warp Rifle look like wood log?
Wait no more, get shiny new Improved Reticulan Weapon Models Mod v1.0
And a best part of it is compatibility with most existing mods here.

Cool, I am going to have to check it out.

The reason my guys don't use the Reticulan weapons, is because they look so silly. I know that the game designers wanted to create an alien looking weapon (which they succeeded in doing); but with the graphics of this game, I want to zoom in and see my guys with wicked looking weapons. Not some green cardboard box.

Though last night I got hit by a Reticulan launcher rocket that blew over 6 of my 7 guys!!! ohmy.gif I had never seen that before. My guys were even spread out. Might have to re-think about that weapon.

At first I thought that I was hit by an upgraded weapon or rocket. But on inspection it was just a normal rocket. It was cool seeing my guys go flying. hehehe

IMO, Reticulan Launcher looks OK. Just like in UFO:AM, if memory serves. Same as for Plasma Cannon. But
that weapons I modified... well they looked like one could kill with them if hitting hard enough. Without shooting, I mean

Okay if I add it to StrategyCore? Could you provide 3 screenshots?

How did you make the models? I know a lot of people would be interested in new models for all sorts of things.

Crude, barbaric, but very effective method.
Took sigget's vfstool, Shai Hulud's MeshConverter, made text files from models, when by trial and error reduced 2 of 3 vertex coordinates. For each of vetixes, of course. If not that Open Office Spreadsheet thingie, that would be much longer and much more boring. Converted them back - and presto - nice new models.
I'm not 3D-modeller, but you don't need to be one : how hard can be dividing by 1.5 to columns in a relational table?
