Just wondering if anyone has ever made new loading screens for the game. I'm getting real tired of the old ones. I'd even be happy with a picture of Scooby-doo for a change of pace. Not sure if this is considered a mod or not. Feel free to flame me if it isn't.

Check out Shadowarrior's "Weaponrebalance Mod" and the "UFO Unleashed" thread. They have (the same AFIO) a modified set of screens that you might like.

Nusku, those are NOT loading screens. What was added in my mod are MENUS. The loading screens are what you see when you are waiting for the game to load the geoscape or tactical maps. Loading screens have a progress bar at the bottom and the picture alternates amongst a set of static paintings. AFAIK, no one has yet done any new loading screens. Which is why Mcb0001 is asking about it.

Hey, here is an idea. Someone could take a bunch of screen shots (or collect them from the group) of memorable battle scenes.

They could be used as the load screens.

Yes, I'm playing Shadowarriors Rebalance at the moment and it is proving interesting, also like the menu change. However, the six or 8 loading screens are getting really, really old. Wish they had 25 or more or a new pack you could swap them for. I'd be happy with anything there, even old UFO or Xcom screens, Startrek, someones family photo's or anything!

I'm just wondering if I'll play until the end or quit when the SG monotony starts. I wondering if the rebalance did put in a suprise or did something to keep the last part fun
