Full Version: White textures (on my models only?)
ALTAR games official forum > UFO: Aftershock > UFO:AS Modding

Every standard items in the game works fine, including everything in the weapon rebalance mod.

My own stuff works, but it's completely white - from armors to weapons... and I don't know where to loo kanymore.

I tired several different .dds saving options and I double-checked all of the edited files.
I'm running out of ides...

Trashman, posting questions about the same problem in FOUR seperate threads in the same forum is NOT going to get you an answer any quicker. All it does is clutter up the forum and annoy everyone. You need to either be more patient, email the game developers directly (and hope they reply), or find another game that's more modder-friendly.

What does this have to do with game devs?

If everyone elses stuff works, just not mine, then it's evidently a problem with either my model fiels or texture files - not the game itself. Otherwise everything would show up white...

and yeah, I really should be more patient, but I've been asking this question for days...and frankly I'm hanging around in very active modding communities when you get an answer in an hour tops so this is very slow compared to what I'm used to...

Think of the bright side, you have a Holy Army. Maybe there is something you left on the mod that makes them white, or a combination of something in the armor or units that is causing it.

What does this have to do with game devs?

Do I have to explain to you the concept of asking the devs for help?

That should be a clue that (1.) this is a niche game with a small community, (2.) you've assumed that the folks reading this forum can answer your questions, and (3.) that you should cease spamming the forum with the same question every few hours.
